Future Spaces was created by Layrd Design, a team of commercial interior designers known for delivering bold, character-driven design packages and fit-out services nationwide.

In 2025, Layrd hosted its biggest Future Spaces event to date. Taking place on 1st and 2nd October, the two-day event brought together cutting-edge innovations, thought-provoking talks, and hands-on learning focused on sustainability and wellbeing within commercial spaces.

Attendees explored eco-friendly alternatives that met rigorous sustainability standards, including cradle-to-cradle certification and environmental product declarations. The programme featured inspiring talks from leading industry figures, covering topics such as innovative materials, green building strategies, biophilic design, and employee wellbeing.

Participants also took part in a dynamic workshop, collaborating with fellow attendees to develop creative solutions for enhancing staff and user wellbeing within the built environment. The event provided valuable opportunities to expand professional networks, form meaningful connections, and inspire future collaborations.
